DANNY BUY scored on his competitive debut for New Earswick All Blacks ARLC but it proved in vain as his side began the new Pennine League premier division season in defeat, writes Peter Martini. They lost 16-14 in a tight encounter at Queensbury, who held sway over the York side in the corresponding fixture last term. Former York Groves pivot Buy got All Blacks' first try and player-coach Chris Judge also crossed the whitewash, with Carl Pallister converting both touchdowns and adding a penalty. |
